Ferrari give us an insight into the innovative tech powering modern day F1 cars
Ferrari, inspired by Red Bull Racing’s series about how to build a Formula One Car, have created its own series of videos explaining the technology behind the speedy vehicles.
The videos are aimed at people who know very little about the technology of F1 and are presented by Simone Resta, the deputy design chief for Ferrari’s racing division, Scuderia Ferrari. He breaks down the concepts and makes them much easier to understand!
There are several videos, the first few exploring aerodynamics, where Ferrari give an introduction to the topic and then look at the front wing and nose of the car, the chassis and side pods, the exhausts and rear corners, and finally the rear wing and diffuser.
