Pope Francis hit the news this week when he shocked and amused the crowds at the Vatican, picking up a fan who was cheering on the front row. He gave the overwhelmed man a short lift in his glass topped Popemobile.
Pope Francis’ passenger was identified as Fr. Fabian Baez of Buenos Aires by the Vatican press hall and turns out he is an old friend. Not only did he manage to hitch a ride, but he proceeded to get a great seat at the front of the audience and speak to the head of the Catholic Church! It must have a truly unique day for the Argentinian Priest!
