Gawker reported that Nazih Abdul-Hamed al-Rugai was captured when he was heading home from morning prayers. Rugai is accused of having a role in the 1998 African embassy bombings, which resulted in over 200 deaths. Also a close friend of Osama Bin Laden, the U.S. had been hunting Rugai for 13 years.
The video which is a ere opening reality of things we are only used to seeing in movies, shows two white vehicles cornering Rugai’s sedan on a street curb. Next, three people jump out of a van with guns drawn as one car blocks Rugai’s escape and a third car waits down the street.
