Tom Hiddleston (aka Loki) was the guest for Top Gear’s “Star in a Reasonably-Priced Car,” and he had the bad luck around the Top gear track in a downpour.
Despite this, Tom battled on with a big dose of british spirit and resilience posting a lap in 1 minute, 49.9 seconds. A damn sight faster than Hugh Bonneville of “Downton Abbey” (also in the rain), and the same as Ron Howard, who didn’t even have to battle the wet weather.
The Tom Hiddleston effect certainly worked as this episode had 5.5 million viewers tuning in which was 200,000 more than last week’s, the season premiere.
