The thriftiest cars on sale today can still only go a few hundred miles on a single tank. What if you could go a hundred thousand miles on just one fill up?

That’s what I talked about on ABC News’ What If, explaining that yes, I would like to drive a car with a couple hundred gallons of gas strapped to the roof.

I mean, hey, people did that sort of thing before, they could do it again.

What do you think it would take to get a car to do 100,000 miles on a single tank? How would people drive differently with that kind of range? What the hell would happen to gas stations?
