A giant octopus caused traffic chaos in London today when the lorry carrying it broke down in the busy Oxford Circus.
Transport for London quickly jumped on the Octopus bandwagon and tweeted a picture of it, and urged rush hour commuters to “Approach with care” as the giant sea creature blocked the roads.

It was later announced that this was a Octopus travelling to a Betfair World Cup advertising campaign.
It caused such a social media stir that this is probably more successful advertising than what they were intending for the Octopus. Either that or it is a very clever PR stunt orchestrated by Betfair.
