Can a supercar help when it comes to picking up girls? Does confidence or personality matter when you’re rolling in a $1.5 million supercar?
These questions have been answered several times with a variety of different cars, including Italian Maseratis, Ferraris and Lamborghinis, but never with the king of the supercar world – the Bugatti Veyron.
The Bugatti Veyron is the fastest production car in the world, capable of 267mph in 1200hp Super Sport form or 253mph in the standard 1001hp model used for this prank video.
Its engine is a massive 8.0-litre W16 with four turbochargers, which is connected to a lightening fast dual-clutch gearbox and all-wheel drive system. The Veyron’s 2.5 second 0-62mph time is still quicker than the latest line of tech-heavy hybrid hypercars from Porsche, McLaren and Ferrari.
But, will girls be turned on or turned away by this $1.5 million machine? After all, James May – a man with possibly the worst fashion-sense and hairstyle on television -, set the car’s original top speed record.
Or maybe the Veyron’s simply monumental price tag will be enough to woo the ladies.
