Internet star, professional hoon and tyre wrecker Chris Harris walks us round the supercar packed 2015 Geneva motor show.

The Geneva motor show is the biggest motoring event on the calendar, it’s where all the hottest and most exciting new cars are revealed for the first time and usually they’re fast cars. This motor show is basically an ideal place for manufacturers to show off their most technologically advanced performance models and compete for the spotlight. You can usually tell who’s ‘winning’ the Geneva motor show by how many journalists turn up to each manufacturer’s press announcements. When ever a new Ferrari is unveiled people tend to pay attention – reveal a new Ssangyong cross over and well, you get the idea.

Before Chris Harris walks us round the Geneva motor show and makes lots of hilariously rude jokes, I’ll give you some of my own highlights from the show. I’m a huge fan of the Swedish hypercar manufacturer Koenigsegg, and their two Geneva show cars were serious stand-outs. The Regera hybrid is an 1800hp rear-wheel drive monster which packs a 1080hp twin-turbo V8 engine and three electric motors which give a total of 700hp. A Bugatti Veyron takes around a minute to reach 248mph (400km/h), this car takes less than 20 seconds. It’s completely nuts. Less extreme is Koenigsegg’s Agera RS, a lightweight track version of the standard 1080hp Agera. Other highlights include the new Porsche 911 GT3 RS and Cayman GT4, Audi R8 and its GT3 race car R8 LMS cousin, and curiously, the new Skoda Superb.
