Richard Hammond and James May Refuse to Film Top Gear Without Clarkson

Richard Hammond and James May have refused to continue filming Top Gear without Jeremy Clarkson in a show of solidarity with the under-fire presenter.

BBC executives have revealed discussions took place about putting on the final few episodes with mainly pre-recorded segments and the two co-stars filming the studio parts on their own.

But Hammond and May both refused outright.

They didn’t want to do it without Jeremy so the talks didn’t get off the ground. There is a feeling that it is all of them or none of them.BBC source

Top Gear fans will be delighted to see the BBC put under so much pressure from within the show, as who can honestly see Top Gear being the same without Clarkson, Hammond and May all on screen?

As you all know, this whole controversy started with that ‘fracas’ between Clarkson and a show producer which led to punches being thrown over a hot meal.

Clarkson was immediately suspended and his fate now lies in the hands of BBC Director General Tony Hall.

The investigation, and the saga as a whole, rumbles on while the BBC decide what on earth to do.
