An awesome new Need For Speed game trailer has been officially revealed ahead of the game’s PC, XBOX One and PS4 launch later this year.
It’s official, there’s a new Need For Speed game coming to PC, XBOX One and PS4 later this year. While details are pretty scarce at the moment the trailer below suggests that fans of street racing style games will be in for a treat.
The trailer features a range of different cars which in typical Need For Speed style can be modified extensively to suit individual tastes. In the trailer you can see a Toyota GT86/Scion FR-S/ Subaru BR-Z which appears to be wearing a Liberty Walk body kit, while there’s also an old-school Porsche 911 rocking a wide body kit. Other cars spotted in the trailer include a Ford Mustang, Nissan 180SX and rem, a BMW 1 Series… For the first time, it appears the ordinary civilians might drive cars modelled on real cars instead of the usual low-quality etcher-sketch rides they normally use.
The trailer also shows wet and dry streets, suggesting the game will include variable weather. We’re only shown nighttime scenes in the trailer so whether the game will also include daytime too is unknown. What we do know is that the cars and streets look crazy realistic with the lights shining on them.
Like most other Need For Speed games, this latest iteration will also include the police. So gamers can expect to have to outrun the cops during street races and while generally cruising around. Similarly, as per previous Need For Speed games, this new one looks to be set in L.A.
