The new Batmobile has been caught on video in Toronto while filming for the upcoming Batman Suicide Squad movie.
Oh how life would be different without the Internet. Imagine having to wait months to see even a glimpse of a new movie trailer or even years to actually see the full movie. These days when everyone owns a smartphone with a high quality video camera built into it, it’s pretty hard to keep a secret for too long. So when the crew of the new Batman Suicide Squad movie begun filming in busy Canadian city of Toronto, it was only a matter of time before some unofficial footage leaked onto the world wide web.
The video below is a short clip of just that, but most captivating is seeing the brand new Batmobile in full action. You’ll see in the video, but the thing actually looks huge. It makes the Joker’s car look tiny. They’re also filming on a soaking wet road, so you know there’s going to be some drifting. This video also makes it clear that the new Batmobile is indeed powered by a V8 engine – most likely a 5.7-litre GM LS1.
