SSC’s New Custom Exhaust For The Tuatara Is Insane

The Zpipe design is a true work of art.

The SSC Tuatara may have been shrouded in controversy when it was revealed that the 331 mph top speed run conducted back in October 2019 wasn’t exactly authentic. This allowed for the Bugatti Chiron Super Sport 300+ to retain its impressive 304 mph title. Its later attempt at hitting 286 mph was still a commendable feat for the twin-turbo 5.9-liter V8 hypercar that’s capable of producing a whopping 1,750 horsepower.

After this incident, things sort of went quiet from the niche company but as a reminder that it is still around and kicking, it has revealed an all-new exhaust option that existing and future owners can opt for, including those who placed an order for the limited track-minded variations. This new piece of equipment not only promises to enhance the car’s aural presence but also improve its already impressive performance characteristics.
