Forget Lamborghini Aventador’s, Gallardo’s, even Sesto Elemento’s, they’re all pathetic attempts at pure insanity in car form. THIS on the other hand is pure insanity in any form you like – particularly car form. It looks like a Le Mans LMP1 racer for the road. It is the Lamborghini Veneno, which is Spanish for ‘venom’ and rather nice. It costs more than an upmarket suburb – £3.1 million – which is er, not so nice.
The Veneno is said to use much of the Aventadors hardware, so you get carbon fiber everything, a 6.5 liter V12 and many, many horsepowers. We believe that the Aventadors 690hp V12 has been tweaked to give 730hp, which, if the Aventadors 2.9 second 0-60mph sprint time is anything to go by, means it’ll be very fast indeed.

We’ll have to wait until the cars official reveal at this weeks Geneva Motor Show for full details, however we can confirm that just three Veneno’s will be built – put your dirty money away, they’re all sold. There will be a red one – obviously-, a white one and a green one, which you’ll notice are the three colors on the Italian flag. How very Italian.
Despite the totally bonkers price – you could fill a garage with a Pagani Huayra, a Koenigsegg Agera R and a Buagtti Veyron for less than £3.1 million – I’m completely in love with this mad machine. Just look at it! It’s Lamborghini at their absolutely silly best.
