La Ferrari blew the car world away with it’s release in Geneva earlier this year so we like to get a little excited when we see a sighting! And today was one of those days thanks to Carfresh.net who posted a Yellow 2014 LaFerrari which was spotted on the road in Dubai.
Apparently LaFerrari, rival of the Mclaren P1 which is usually the car associated with the iconic yellow, is going through final testing before it starts getting shipped out to those lucky future owners.
Carfresh gave the lowdown on some of LaFerrari’s performance features:
The LaFerrari is said to lap the company’s Fiorano test track in less than 1 minute 20 seconds, which is 5 seconds quicker than the Enzo and more than 3 seconds quicker than the F12 Berlinetta.
Built to replace the Enzo, the LaFerrari is powered by a 6262cc V12 engine which produces 800 hp at 9,000 rpm and 700 Nm of torque at 6,750 rpm, working together with an electric motor providing an extra 163 hp and 270 Nm. This setup creates a total combined power output of 963 hp.
Power is sent to the wheels via a seven-speed dual-clutch gearbox that allows the 1,255 kg car to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in less than 3 seconds and hit a top speed of more than 350 km/h.
Exciting times for the super car world. This will be awesome.
