The BMW Active Tourer New Promotion Video!

The German based automaker BMW has recently released a new promotional video with the Active Tourer Concept and it looks and definitely feels super cool! 

With an LA backdrop which features surfing, beaches, sun and parties BMW are certainly trying turn Hybrid fun with the Active tourer and it definitely works!

After it was officially presented to the public during the 2012 Paris Motor Show, in a world premiere, the BMW Active Tourer Concept is being placed into the spotlights once again, this time with the carmaker releasing yet a new promotional video with the model. The BMW Active Tourer Concept is 4,353 mm long, 1,834 mm wide and 1,560 mm tall, riding on a 2,670 mm wheelbase. The model has a panoramic roof with Suspended Particle Device, which is allowing the driver to control how much light can go in the cabin.

The BMW Active Tourer Concept is a plug-in hybrid which is powered by a 1.5 liter three-cylinder TwinPower Turbo engine, which is helped by an electric motor and a battery set. This can be charged from a standard 220V outlet. The total output produced by the hybrid powertrain stands at just over 190 HP and these are being sent to the front-wheel drive. The 0 to 100 km/h acceleration is done in less than 8 seconds and top speed stands at just over 200 km/h. Average fuel consumption is 2.5 L / 100 km and CO2 emissions stop at 60 g/km.
