In this week’s Carhoots top ‘viral’ car videos; a co-driver is frightened, XCAR get airborne in some Rage buggies, more of Grand Theft Auto 5 is revealed, the BMW M4 Concept shouts a little, and a Lamborghini Aventador cooks a sausage.
1. Samir PLEASE! I beg you! – The funniest rally video you’ll ever see.
Rally co-drivers, rather bravely, put their lives in the hands of the bloke who’s driving like a madman whenever they hop into a rally car to direct their pilot. This co-driver, however, is too busy praying to the baby Jesus and telling the bloke in the drivers seat to stay on the road, or the dusty track that vaguely resembles a road, to be worried about giving directions. His fear and the driver’s carelessness are hilarious!
2. Rage Comet R: Track Monster And Off Road King – XCAR
Here’s a short taster of what XCAR recently got up to with some seriously cool, and mostly airborne Rage buggies. We’re jealous.
3. Grand Theft Auto Online: Official Gameplay Video
You may remember that a month or so ago some people from a company that produce this game called Grand Theft Auto – you might’ve heard of it – released a gameplay video of their new game – GTA 5. In this video the massive new world of Grand Theft Auto was revealed, complete with interesting characters – each with their own whacko personality -, oceans that could be swum in, aircraft that could be flown and obviously cars that could be stolen and people that could be randomly attacked. The video ended with the slogan ‘And then there’s Grand Theft Auto Online, which we will show you properly soon’. Well, soon is now.
4. McLaren F1 and Ferrari F40 vs analogue rivals ‘ evo TV
It’s the group test of dreams; perhaps the greatest experiment ever carried out by motoring journalists, with the greatest group of cars ever produced. evo Magazine assembled the world’s most amazing analogue supercars – including the McLaren F1, Ferrari F40, Porsche Carrera GT and Pagani Zonda – to see which of them really stood out, all for your viewing pleasure and because it’d be fun, obviously. And because consumer advice is important… This is the result.
5. Lamborghini Aventador Cooks A Sausage…
Supercars have many uses y’know. You could pop to the shops in one to collect some milk and biscuits, you could cross a continent in a supercar, you could drive one around a race track and explore its handling limits after a dose of brave pills, you could even cook a sausage with one – here’s how…
6. BMW M4 Concept
BMW insist on calling this a concept, but honestly, the angry yellow thing in this video is the new M4. And it is an utterly gorgeous thing, isn’t it? Those wide hips, the carbon fiber details, the gapping gills in the front fenders, the rear diffuser -they’re all stunning pieces of design. Yeah, we like it. A lot.
