And it’s in Manchester, UK.
These stunning images show McLaren’s brand new £174k supercar – on display in Manchester before anywhere else in the world.
The new 570S supercar, which does 0 to 60 mph in 3.2 seconds, is now available to test drive at the McLaren Manchester dealership.
But petrolheads wanting to try out the 3.8-litre, twin-turbocharged V8 engine might be left disappointed, as prospective buyers must prove they can afford the luxury motor before being let behind the wheel.
Nicholas Briggs, the dealership’s senior sales specialist, says that hasn’t stopped people coming in to admire the new model, which offers drivers a massive 562 of horsepower.
He said: “To be the first dealership in the world to have it is very special. This is the 66th model that has even been built and is the first that is available to test-drive for potential buyers.
“We have had it on display for about a week and we have already had massive interest in it – from people that have ordered it or are looking to order it. Because we are the first dealership to have it we will get people from all over the country coming to buy it.
“And we do get a lot of people coming into the showroom just to have a look at the cars – especially at the weekend when people come in just to have a look around and admire the cars.”
Introduced at the 2015 New York Auto Show earlier this year and made in Woking, the 570s McLaren’s first “Sport Series” of less-expensive models.
But the luxury white vehicle that is on display in McLaren Manchester’s showroom, near Knutsford in Cheshire, won’t be around for too long.
Nick added: “We will probably have it on display till about December and then we will sell it on. At that time we will get another one in the showroom for people to try out.
“I have driven it for about an hour and a half and it’s incredibly fun to drive. Some of our other models in the ‘super series’ can be a little but more intimidating to drive but this is very accessible.”
