A new trailer for the latest Fast and Furious movie, Furious 7, has been launched ahead of the movie’s premiere on April 3.
There’s not long to go until Fast and Furious 7 hits cinemas. In fact, it’s less than a month away and set for its big-screen premiere on April 3, and this latest trailer video gives us our best glimpse yet at the presumably far-fetched but brilliant Furious 7 plot, and some of the cars.
We’re pretty sure that a significant portion of the film will be played out around the wealthy supercar-congested suburbs of Abu Dhabi, judging by the previous trailers. However, this latest one is less about the scenery and more about the squad driving a group of hotted-up cars out of a flying cargo jet thousands of feet above the ground.
Cars include a Dodge Charger piloted by Dom (it wouldn’t be a Fast and Furious movie without the Charger, would it?), a last-gen Subaru Impreza WRX STI driven by the late Paul Walker’s character Brian plus a new Dodge Challenger coupe, a large nondescript armoured truck and an old Chevrolet Camaro driven by a petrified Roman (Tyrese Gibson’s character). And naturally, the only logical way to transport these vehicles and their driver’s from the plane to the ground is via air drop. No it doesn’t make sense, but it should make for some exceptional viewing once the movie launches.
The main characters that aren’t pictured in this trailer are the police chief played by the enormous Rock, and the baddie in the film played by Brit Jason Stratham. It’s believed the film will start in Tokyo at the scene of the shunt shown in 2003’s Fast and Furious Tokyo Drift where Han dies. Apparently Stratham’s character is responsible for the death and was fuelled by anger over the death of his brother caused by Dom and the crew in the last Fast and Furious movie. It’s all a bit complicated but this is the movie that will finally make sense of Tokyo Drift, probably.
Anyway, check out the awesome trailer.
