It has been confirmed that former Top Gear presenters Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May will launch a new car show on Netflix.
The former Top Gear boys Clarkson, Hammond and May have long been rumoured to be starting their own car show following their fallout with the BBC. The trio along with former Top Gear producer Andy Willman are believed to have been in discussions with various television companies including ITV, but it seems online streaming service Netflix has won the race to secure Clarkson, Hammond and May.
According to UK newspaper The Sunday Times, Clarkson confirmed that an agreement had been reached and he would return with a new car show alongside Richard Hammond, James May and former Top Gear producer Andy Willman.
While an agreement has been reached it’ll still be a while before we see Clarkson, Hammond and May back on the small screen. It’s believed the new show will launch around March 2016.
This news comes just days after it was announced radio host and Ferrari collector Chris Evans would be the new face of Top Gear. His co-hosts are yet to be confirmed though Top Gear is currently running a competition to get a member of the public to be host the show alongside Chris Evans.
