Batman v Superman movie: new Batmobile revealed (VIDEO)

    Batmobile

The wild new Batmobile for the upcoming Batman v Superman movie has been revealed in a new viral video.

Good news! There’s a new Batman movie on the way, and that means it will soon be cool to wear black leather attire and a cape again… Um, there’s also a new very exciting looking Batmobile which has been revealed in this short thirty second clip, and it looks angry. Christopher Nolan’s old Tumbler Batmobile has been swapped for a lower, sleeker machine that looks like a Star Wars spaceship on wheels. It’s really cool, and fitted with a pair of forward facing guns to take down the inevitable baddies.

Speaking of villains, we can’t tell you anything more about the upcoming movie apart from the fact that it will also include another old-school superhero in the form of the one and only Superman. Judging by the title ‘Batman v Superman,’ they will probably verse each other in some capacity.

As for the nitty gritty details of the new Batmobile, they’re pretty scarce at the moment as well. The old Tumbler machine was powered by a 5.7-litre Chevy V8 engine producing around 400hp. The new car will probably use a similar drivetrain due to its reliability and cost-effectiveness – they’re probably going to smash a few of these things during filming.

Anyway, check out the short video of the new Batmobile below.

After leaked photos of the new Batmobile on Instagram (see below) Zack Synder has produced the first official photo of the new Batmobile for much anticipated Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice movie.

Fans were given a sneak peak of the new Batmobile back in May, when Snyder tweeted an image of Ben Affleck, playing Batman, stood menacingly by its wheels.

    Batman vs Superman Batmobile

However, earlier this week fanboys got more than they bargained for after an Instagram user claimed he had ‘spy shots’ of Batman’s infamous car. Amarco13’s photos show this new Batmobile up close and personal; blending Christopher Nolan’s military grade Tumbler with Joel Schumacher’s more cartoonish batmobile.

Compare those shots to the one posted by Zack Snyder today. Snyder the director of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, has unveiled a closer look at the Batmobile that will feature in the film. Just look at those guns!

Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, which also stars Henry Cavill as Superman and Jesse Eisenberg (The Social Network) as Lex Luthor will be released in March 2016.

New Batman Ben Affleck and his Batmobile Revealed

    ben affleck batmobile

Double whammy! A moody teaser photo revealing New Batman Ben Affleck and the his Batmobile for the Batman vs. Superman movie has been revealed.

Director Zack Snyder – the man behind the recent Superman flick Man of Steel –  tweeted a photo first announcing, “could be time to pull the tarp…tomorrow” (see below) with a juicy teaser of the new Batmobile.

He has since then released another tweet with a photo of Batfleck (Ben Affleck) looking super badass as the new Batman standing besides his Batmobile. Check out that muscle suit!

At first glance it is clear that the new Batmobile is a blend of Christopher Nolan’s military grade Tumbler at the front and Joel Schumacher’s more cartoonish Batmobiles from the rear. The Tumbler needed a much needed re-vamp and glad they have moved back to a more car-like Batmobile.

No word on whether this new Batmobile will be packing 400bhp as the Tumbler did, nor if it will contain the cool Batpod that was used to take on the Joker in the Dark Knight Rises.

As for the new Batman Ben Affleck;  it looks like he has been hitting the gym from the striking appearance his muscular suit, the real difference, if you look a bit closer is the much shorter ears. Perhaps a nod to the 1960s Batman TV series with Adam West?

The Batman vs. Superman movie is expected to arrive in cinemas May 2016. Stay tuned for more Batmobile updates.

Live Out Those Batman Fantasies – The ‘Tumbler’ Batmobile Is For Sale

    Batmobile-Tumbler-for-sale

This is a street-legal replica of the Batmobile used in Christopher Nolan’s Dark Knight trilogy. It costs $1 million, which is around £600k in real money, and is therefore more expensive than a pair of Lamborghini Aventadors.

Like the Lamborghini Aventador, the Batmobile features rear-wheel-drive, some wheels, some doors, a stereo, sat nav and iPod integration. Unlike the Lamborghini Aventador, however, it doesn’t have a 6.5-litre V12, 700bhp, bespoke carbon fibre construction and warp speed.

“Look, It’s Batman” KTM X-Bow AKA ‘Batmobile’ Rides The Streets In Daylight

"Look, It's Batman" KTM X-Bow AKA 'Batmobile'

"Look, It's Batman" KTM X-Bow AKA 'Batmobile'

This KTM X-Bow has been referred to as the batmobile, but although it doesn’t have sh*t on the real deal, it is still incredibly cool.

It is owned by a guy in the Millionaire Boy Racers documentary who said heard a kid saying ‘Look, It’s Batman’ as that as he drove by.
The X-Bow is actually built for the track, but it is shown here to ride around town just fine.

    Check it out…

Battle Of The Batmobiles: ’60s versus ’80s Batmobile? (VIDEO)

Who are you’re bets on: the 80’s Batmobile vs. the 60’s Batmobile in a drag race.

Each batman film the fable Batmobile is reworked, restyled and relaunched as the ‘best Batmobile yet’.  Which brings up the question of which Batman had the best car? And by best, I mean fastest.

The folks at Super Power Beat Down staged a drag race to find out which one was fastest, the original Ford Futura based Batmobile or the 1989 custom GM-chassi’d Batmobile. Basically Adam West vs  Michael Keaton.

If you want hear them debate Batmobile styling then watch the whole video. Skip to 7.20 for the actual race and weirdly the sexy red head presenter gets in a bikini for a Batmobile car wash. Odd but strangely satisfying!

Batman Tumbler To Take On Gumball 3000 Rally

    team galag batman tumbler

The Gumball 3000 is to have its craziest edition this year, a replica street-legal Batman Tumbler, designed by Team Galag from Saudi Arabia.

If the previous Batman films are anything to go by then expect a lot of trashed supercars, high speed chases and some high adrenaline action from Team Galag. We doubt it has all of Batman’s gadgets and weaponry but this is sure one fun, extravagant and damn right crazy edition to the already wacky Gumball Rally.  Will it make the list of the greatest cars ever at Gumball 3000?

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AzW2n8oz7Hg

Motorauthority.com give you the low down…

Generally speaking, the Gumball Rally has become a seemingly no-holds barred on-road playground for the world’s wealthy elite.

We’re not fans of all the on-road antics but not every Gumballer runs the event in that manner, either. Many treat it as a way to see different parts of the world in all sorts of high-end machinery. For some, however, the types of vehicles that show up have become stale.

Team Galag from Saudi Arabia is one such team that’s seen it all. In fact, they entered a Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG and a Lamborghini Aventador in last year’s Gumball. Now though, the team is ready to shake up the Gumball establishment. This is an impressive undertaking and it will wind up bringing a bit of Gotham to the streets of Europe.

Team Galag is building a street-legal Tumbler... let that sink in for a moment.

Team Galag is pairing up with Parker Brothers Concepts to create an exact replica of Batman’s favorite ride. Under the seemingly radar-resistant bodywork sits a 400-horsepower 6.2-liter V-8 engine surrounded by a tubular chassis. This build is being taken oh-so-seriously too, because it has to last the entire 3000 miles of the Gumball journey.

To say we’re excited to see Team Galag pilot this through Europe is an understatement. This build gives Gumball a breath of fresh air, and returns a bit of the fun that the rally first brought to the point-to-point race world. If they bring in the Aventador as the “Bruce Wayne Support Vehicle,” then they will official have blown our minds.
