First drive: the C7 Corvette Convertible

    Corvette C7 first drive

Been waiting to hear more about the new convertible Stingray. What’s the story?

Designed at the same time as the hardtop, you might think that the convertible was unnecessary as all ‘Vettes now have a targa-style removable roof panel. So you can get your fresh air on and have a solid roof over your head when you’re finished. But then you drive the soft-topped version and it makes all the sense in the world. There are several reasons for this.

Chevrolet Corvette Stingray Performance Data Recorder

Chevrolet Corvette Stingray Performance Data Recorder
The beginning of this week, folks got pretty excited about Chevrolet’s latest move to make the all-new C7 Corvette even more lovable.

Announced the first day of the Consumer Electronics Show (CES 2014), the 2015 Corvette Stingray can be had with a Performance Data Recorder.

That’s for all the tracks many buyers will likely NOT be going to. Anyhow…

The folks at Engadget had the chance to get a bit more intimate with this all-new piece of racing-inspired technology. In doing so, they experienced a walkthrough of it and we’ve got the video of it right here, down below.

Bugatti and Corvette To Be New Autobots In Transformers 4 Movie!
Bumblebee and co will be joined by two new autobots for Transformers 4 in the form of a Bugatti Grand Sport Vitesse and a C7 Corvette Stingray!

For movie lovers and car lovers this is huge!

It is difficult to imagine that a Bugatti could get any cooler, so knowing that there will be a Bugatti that can transform into a robot and save the world is pretty cool!

We are unaware of any further details on this aside from the rumours that the Bugatti Veyron will be the car representing Drift and the Corvette Stingray will take the form of Slingshot.

These won’t be the only surprises for the movie though with Optimus Prime set for a redesign and Mark Wahlberg being added to the cast!

We are already excited for this one!
