A sizzling British supercar.
We’ve seen some flamethrowers lately with the Lamborghini Aventador and McLaren P1, now there’s a new supercar joining the heated lineup – the McLaren MP4-12C. Filmed by YouTube user, Shmee150, who cooked his Christmas turkey with a Lamborghini Aventador, this new McLaren MP4-12C Spider had some fun spitting out some flames.

What we seem to be looking at is an MP4-12C with revised styling to more closely resemble the P1. Which is a good thing, because to most eyes, the P1 is a far better-looking car than the 12C, whose appearance – finalized before design director Frank Stephenson arrived on the scene – has oft been derided as derivative.
The 650S also features an updated interior, but best of all, it’s said to pack more power: the name hints at a 650 metric horsepower (641 hp) output from what we can assume to be the same 3.8-liter twin-turbo V8 that powers the 12C (which currently offers 616 hp) and the P1 (727 hp before the 176 hp electric motor comes into play).

The Dubai Police Force has added a new supercar to its extensive fleet – the British McLaren 12c coupe.
There must be a whole lot of baddies in Dubai. Fast baddies. Because, the Dubai police force has one of the speediest car collections in the world. The list of cop cars includes a Lamborghini Aventador, Ferrari FF, Mercedes SLS AMG, Bentley Continental GT, Mercedes G63 AMG, Chevrolet Camaro, a BMW M6, and even a super rare Aston Martin One-77.
But it seems this fleet of super fast cars isn’t quite enough to prevent Dubai law-breakers from doing bad. So, how do we fix this Senior Constable? Buy another supercar, obviously. The latest addition to the Dubai force is a 616hp McLaren 12C Coupe. It does 0-62mph in about 3.1 seconds and well over 200mph. Try and outrun it at your peril.

The Mclaren P1 is arguably one of the finest cars on the planet, but that doesn’t stop Mclaren’s Special Operations team from coming up with special one-off concept cars demonstrating the level of personalisation that McLaren offers.
The MSO have today released images of the their latest concept supercar on Mclaren Automotive’s official facebook page. Here is what they had to say, and check out the incredible images below:
“McLaren Special Operations provides a bespoke engineering service to those wishing to make their McLaren even more distinctive.
The MSO 12C Concept is packed full of bespoke features including a revised bonnet, front wing louvres, rear wing vents, a unique Airbrake and a new roof featuring an integrated snorkel channelling air to the engine.
These revisions are all crafted in lightweight carbon fibre. Titanium wheel bolts, along with oil and water filler caps, shed further weight from the already light 12C.
The interior gains more carbon fibre upgrades in the form of body colour switch packs and bezels. These are complemented by a new carbon fibre instrument cluster with integrated shift lights.
The keen-eyed amongst you will also notice that the Light Weight Wheels have been diamond cut in a new design.
So, what would you have MSO produce?”
