Koenigsegg One:1 Houses Innovative 3D Printed Variable Turbo (VIDEO)

3D printing is set to be the next revolutionary technology, and one of the most impressive uses of the tech so far is seen in the Koenigsegg One:1.

Koenigsegg have managed to create a fully 3D printed variable turbo. And get this: it has moving parts printed within the chamber itself.

The turbochargers in the One:1’s 5.0 Litre V8 are fully variable, giving it a full 1341hp, and 1371Nm. It boggles the mind.

So sit back, and let Christian von Koenigsegg himself explain and explore the insides of the Koenigsegg One:1

Finally, Koenigsegg One:1 Images Leaked! (PHOTOS)

It’s the moment we’ve all been waiting for: the first glimpse of the elusive Koenigsegg One:1.

The render here predicted what the car would look like; but we needn’t wonder any longer. So how close was this artist’s rendering?

Past: Future.  Man: Machine. Power: Weight. And so on. Setting aside it’s peculiar name, it looks like an absolute beast.

If looks weren’t enough to have you sold, how about the specs? It boasts 1340hp, 2g cornering, 600kg downforce, with 1340kg curb weight and driver. Absolutely absurd.

The official teaser video is below, even if these leaked images beat them to the punch.
