Little Girl Driving Battery-Operated Car Gets Pulled Over And Given $4 Ticket By Cop

Little Girl Driving Battery-Operated Car Gets Pulled Over And Given $4 Ticket By Cop

Officers were in the area for a criminal investigation, First Coast News reports, but figured it was time to take a break and share some laughs with a young girl named Za’Dariyah Mishaw.

While it’s unknown whether she was speeding or had turned without signaling, patrol officer Christian Velasco pulled her over to issue a $4 ticket for a traffic-related infraction.

“Everyone always has bad things to say about the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office, well, I want to say BIG PROPS to these officers for making a memorable moment for my family,” said Za’Dariyah’s uncle Keyth Mishaw, who was watching his niece from the apartment window.

“It was a fun moment, brightened up the whole day,” he added, commending the officers for making his niece’s first experience with the police a happy one.

The encounter is hilariously relevant to the average millennial’s run-in with the law, with the only difference being that Mishaw didn’t try to cry her way out of the ticket.

Za’Dariyah is reportedly nagging her mother to pay the fine.

Velasco told First Coast News that Mishaw “was going pretty fast. It took me a while to catch up to her, but we did, and she was cited.”

The officer said that he tries to interact with the community as much as possible to establish his role as their friendly protector.

The Cozy Coupe For Adults Turns A Childhood Favorite Toy Car Into A Beast That Can Go 70 MPH (VIDEO)

The Cozy Coupe For Adults Turns A Childhood Favorite Toy Car Into A Beast That Can Go 70 MPH (VIDEO)

A pair of British brothers, John and Geoff Bitmead, and close friend, Nigel Douglass, made a nearly universal childhood dream become a reality by building a real life, full sized version of the iconic red and yellow Little Tikes’ Cozy Coupe. I remember growing too big for my Cozy Coupe while my little sister still fit and it irked oh so much.

John Bitmead was the driving force behind this garage science project, and he told the Toy News:

“We were chatting one day about how more people have probably driven a Cozy Coupe than any other kind of car — and it snowballed from there. Since making it, we’ve taken it out on a few trips, and people can’t believe their eyes when we come driving down the street in this red and yellow toy car. We took it on the motorway once, but I’m too scared to do it again in case we cause and accident — people were taking photos of us driving past at the wheel and swerving all over the place when they saw us drive past.”

John and Geoff are mechanics at Nigel’s Attitude Autos in Oxfordshire, and they estimate the project cost about 35,000 pounds in parts and man hours. John believes that he spent over 1,000 hours building the car, including some time working on the body for 150 straight days.

The details between the working model and the original are as close as possible: the ignition is a button, there are no windows, and it only seats one.

It also can go from 0-60 in 17 seconds with an 800 cc engine.

This clip is surreal, not only for the real life Little Tikes vehicle, but also because it is driving on the “wrong” side of the road.
