In this weeks Carhoots top videos; an M3 hooner falls off a cliff slightly, the worlds fastest street legal Nissan GT-R, XCAR drive the McLaren MP4-12C, Chris Harris gives his verdict on the new 991 Porsche 911 GT3 and covering 1000 miles in a Bugatti Veyron Vitesse.

1. M3 Hooner Falls Off A Cliff

Here’s a prime example of what happens when an idiot gets behind the wheel of a fast car and tries to keep up with his buddies on an unfamiliar road. The clever chap turns into a blind corner at approximately one billion miles an hour, then turns in some more, then some more again, before the M3 understeers off the side of a cliff and gets a crushed slightly. Poor car.

2. The Worlds Fastest Street-Legal Nissan GT-R

The Nissan GT-R is mental enough in stock format. It’ll claw its way to 62mph in 2.8 seconds and demolish the quarter mile several seconds later. Naturally, it simply isn’t faster enough and needs to be made faster, a lot faster. Which is why this particular GT-R produces 1300hp (rather than 542hp) and covers the standing quarter mile in just 8.61 seconds at a trap speed of 170mph, making it the fastest street legal GT-R on Earth. Bonkers.

Our buddies at XCAR have been steering some seriously hot metal recently and this week the sublime McLaren MP4-12C was in their hands. It may have a name fitting of a fax machine, but it is really rather fast. And black and white…

4. Chris Harris Drives The New Porsche 911 GT3

It is perhaps the most controversial car to be launched this year with its purist maddening PDK only gearbox philosophy. And finally, we have a verdict from a man, who is might I add, quite cluey when it comes to cars and going sideways in them.

5. What’s It Like To Drive 1000 Miles In The Bugatti Veyron Vitesse?

Carhoots and probably the entire expanses of the Interwebs are jealous of evo magazines Harry Metcalfe, he gets to drive some spectacular machinery. Most recently Harry participated in the amazing Mille Miglia rally across Italy. His steed for the 1000-mile journey along some of the finest tarmac Italy has to offer? A 1200hp Bugatti Veyron Vitesse of course.
